Cancellations |

Event Cancellation Policy |
|
Events are only cancelled if there are not enough registrants for the event.
Generally, we know 30 days in advance of the event date. Should the event be
cancelled, all registrants will be contacted by telephone and receive a full
refund of the registration fees. |

Substitute Registration For An Event |
|
Substitute enrollment for another individual for the same event will be accepted
up to 1 business day prior to the event date. Substitute enrollments are subject
to a $25.00 administration fee. |
|
Registration Modifications - Changing Events |
|
Substitute enrollment for another OPEN MINDS event will be accepted 1 business
days prior to the original event date. A $25.00 administrative fee plus the
difference in registration fees will apply. If the new registration fee is lower
than the original registration fee, a credit letter will be issued. No partial
refunds of registration fees will be issued. |

Registration Fee Refunds |
|
Requests for refunds must be received in writing 30 days prior to the event
date. All refund requests are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee. |
|
Accommodations |
|
Seminar & institute participants are responsible for
making their own accommodations. For some events, we are able to secure special
rates for our registrants - if arrangements for special rates have been secured,
the information details will be found on the event web page - under the heading:
ACCOMMODATIONS. |

Special Requests |
|
If you require special accommodations to fully
participate, call toll-free 877-350-6463 and ask for the Program Manager. Please
provide a description of your needs. |

Tax Deductible Expenses |
|
The expense of continuing education, when take to maintain
and improve your professional skills, is tax deductible. Check with your
accountant regarding your special tax situation. |
|
Continuing Education Units - CEU's |
|
Each certification/professional board has different
standards regarding credits for continuing education. Contact your
licensing/certification board directly to determine eligibility of this training
event for your organization. All OPEN MINDS participants receive a
Certificate of Completion, including attendee name, course title, date, location
and contact hours. This certificate should be submitted to your
licensing/certification board for credit. |
